Recently, CAAC Central and Southern Regional Administration issued CTSOA to Guilin Lanyu Aviation Tire Development Co., LTD. (Guilin Lanyu Company) of aviation tires of two specifications for ARJ21-700 aircraft front wheel and main wheel.
Guilin Lanyu company specializes in rubber chemical research and aviation tire manufacturing, has a number of specifications of Boeing aircraft and general aviation tires approved to replace the original imported tires. Central and Southern Regional Administration of CAAC attaches great importance to the ARJ21 program localization, it immediately sets up a review group to carry out the program examination and approval work after Guilin Lanyu submitted an application.
These two specifications of tires of Guilin Lanyu company are superior to the original imported tires installed on the existing ARJ21 aircraft in terms of speed and performance. After obtaining the CTSOA of CAAC, the tires will be delivered to COMAC for completion of the installation verification, then the product can be involved into the ARJ21 aircraft installed list, which means it can equally compete with the original imported tires.
