AVIC New Continent formally entered into the MRO market

On August 24, AVIC New Continent Co., asubsidiary of AVIC Supply Chain Co., cooperated with Beijing AircraftMaintenance Company (AMECO) to complete the first acceptance of two engineparts of V2500 and RB211, and officially delivered the two products. Theacceptance and delivery of the first batch of parts marks the officialimplementation of the cooperation project between AVIC New Continent and AMECO.


AMECO is a world-renowned MRO companyengaged in overhaul of aircraft, engines and landing gear, with strongtechnical strength and international influence. The cooperation between the twosides is on the maintenance of RB211, V2500 series and other mainstreamaircraft engine products, with broad market prospects.

 

The project has been contacted since 3years ago, during which hundreds of emails have been exchanged, more than 10 timesof processing tests have been conducted, and the project has passed AMECO'sreview according to the most stringent international FAA and EASA standards andhas been authorized. On May 28, AVIC New Continent signed a long-termcooperation agreement with AMECO, formally entering into the MRO market.

 

The repair processing of the two partsdelivered this time has been completed by foreign suppliers. This cooperationis the first time for domestic maintenance, and both sides have attached greatimportance to it. The AVIC New Continent team braved all the difficulties andspent several weeks on the development of a processing to remove the surfacecoating on the engine - high pressure water coating removal.

 

The two sides will continue to carry outin-depth cooperation in heat treatment, thermal spraying and other fields.
