On May 1, 2020, COMAC delivered its 25th ARJ21 aircraft to the end user - Genghis Khan Airlines. Painted with the words " Ordos", it landed at Ordos Ejin Horo Internatinal Airport and officially joined the fleet of Genghis Khan Airlines.
Need to mention, this is the fourth ARJ21 aircraft delivered by COMAC to Genghis Khan Airlines, and the 25th ARJ21 aircraft delivered by COMAC to its customers.
Mr. HE Dongfeng, party secretary and chairman of COMAC; AI Lihua, vice chairman of Inner Mongolia autonomous region; Siqin Bilige, deputy party secretary and mayor of ordos city; TAN Wangeng, deputy party secretary and director of the company; CHENG Fubo, standing committee member of the party committee and deputy general manager of the company; HAO Yutao, chairman of Genghis Khan Airlines attended the aircraft acceptance activity.
"Ordos" is the first aircraft of Genghis Khan Airlines named after the city. It is another important achievement of strategic cooperation between ordos city and Genghis Khan Airlines. It is an important carrier to publicize ordos and show the image of the city.
The aircraft, which has a full economy class layout of 90 seats, will be put into service in the near future. As a mobile business card flying in the air, "ordos" will further enhance the brand influence and popularity of ordos city, and attract more people to come to ordos for sightseeing and investment.
